- stefien19 de junho de 2025Muppets Treasure Island is such a classic. Only Muppets Christmas Carol matches it. It's such a great movie and Tim Curry is simply amazing. To be frank, he carries the movie. Much like Michael Caine in the Christmas Carol. The movie itself is great but it would only be good without Tim Curry.
- Ray Hopkin14 de agosto de 2026"But, um, it's not even his birthday" I haven't seen this in ages, and I've just finished watching the absolutely brilliant Black Sails (TV show that is a prequel to Treasure Island, set 20 years before the events in the book), so I thought this would be the perfect movie to watch! It's such a great movie, the jokes, the songs, all great. It's another outstanding effort by the frog and his team! And weirdly, the character of Long John Silver, is every bit the same as Long John in Black Sails, totally believable that it's the same character after 20 years.
