The no reason to sympathize with the main character because her personality is gone on the first 20 minutes. The motives of the bad guys are unclear. It's like they made a movie and forgot to put in the plot.

Against her will she deals with sinister individuals by using her unique abilities, which she uses to gain vengeance against her perpetrators. Morgan Freeman plays a scientist who helps Lucy to deal with her newly found inteligence. A great yarn with a sobering twist.
