Pixar once again shows its gift for taking a simple idea and turning it into something universal. The animation is absolutely stunning. Every frame looks like a painting brought to life. The sparkling ocean, the cobblestone streets, and the golden sunlight all make Portorosso feel like a real place you could visit. It feels cozy and alive, as if it’s filled with stories waiting to be told. The attention to detail is incredible, from the way the characters’ hair moves to the glistening sea foam on the waves. Jacob Tremblay brings innocence and curiosity to Luca, while Jack Dylan Grazer gives Alberto that wild, fearless energy that hides deep loneliness underneath.
