Based on The Falklands War in 1982, 'LONGDON' focuses on the themes associated with patriotism and conversely the futility of war on both the British and Argentinian side of the conflict. The film particularly centers on the associated tragic events within a family where two brothers are engaged in the military action involved in gaining control of Mount Longdon summit, an Argentinian stronghold within the Falklands Islands.
