- Kevin Ward28 de fevereiro de 2026I don’t have much nostalgia for the original, nor do I remember much about it, aside from “Ohana means family.” (My daughter frequenty does her Stitch impression.) I thought this was very cute, though, with a touching performance from Maia Kealoha, the young lead. The CGI elements worked really well also.

- sinrise28 de dezembro de 2025TERRIBLE. Why, Hollywood, why? The CGI looks like they just reused footage from the first movie. Why not make a sequel? Hell even a prequel of some kind is a better concept. Why make it live action if the CGI characters look like CGI? Also, it’s clear from the first few minutes they picked the girl to play Lilo because she was Hawaiian and not because she had any acting skills at all. Her performance was abysmal. What a shameful Hollywood cash-grab. When will they learn?

- Kylerrr14 de novembro de 2025Horrible pacing, camera angles shift every 5 seconds as if the entire movie is an action sequence, the CGI was the ONLY thing the movie got right. All plot changes made were awful and fundamentally undermine the original story.

The movie stays very close to the original, and the only real highlight is Stitch himself — he looks fantastic and captures the original charm perfectly. Unfortunately, almost everything else misses the mark. Jumba and Pleakley look oddly animated and are often replaced by strange holographic projections played by live actors, which just comes off as awkward and silly. Even worse, both Captain Gantu and Dr. Van Hamsterviel have been completely cut from the film. That means there’s essentially no true villain — and without them, it’s hard to imagine how future sequels or storylines could even work. Lilo also loses much of her charm; instead of the lovable, chaotic child with a big heart, she feels more annoying and far less sympathetic. It’s a real shame — Stitch is wonderfully brought to life, but everything around him feels hollow.
