- Darren Webster9 de abril de 2025Another W.S. Anderson film. Another insane meandering sci-fi-ish action movie. Is this movie great? Not even close. But it is one of those fun "turn off your brain" films and that's not always a bad thing. Not every movie has to be filled with mind blowing writing and academy award winning cinematography. The fact that Anderson and Jovovich enjoy making these films together is also pretty cool. So, yeah, it's a fun one time watch.
- Enes Şahin29 de março de 2026I was exhausted while watching the movie. I had difficulty connecting the scenes. The atmosphere was very tiring. Everything was so bright and yellow that it was overwhelming. The cast was good, but it couldn't save the film. The effects were mostly poor. I understood the script, but I stopped watching halfway through. It was the first time I've been so exhausted while watching a movie.

- samse1412 de abril de 2025I had high expectations for In the Lost Lands, especially with two established actors leading the cast. Unfortunately, the film fell flat almost immediately. Within the first ten minutes, it became painfully clear that the dialogue was going to be a major issue. It's robotic, lifeless, and completely devoid of natural flow-like it was written by AI without any understanding of human interaction.
- Kevin Ward5 de março de 2026The dialogue is so bad in this and its not doing Bautista (or anyone else) any favors. I continue to be frustrated by the way Paul W. S. Anderson captures action sequences. Set pieces have disorienting cuts between various camera angles and close ups that makes getting a wider sense of geography, movement and space difficult. Did not care for the almost monochromatic color grading, but I sort of think it might have worked if the story hadn’t been so boring.

I am truly glad i watched it, its SOOO worth a watch one time, but is not their best work. but I WILL NEVER stop watching ANYTHING either of them do. SO ENJOY, its a great entertainment.
- Elli25 de janeiro de 2026I really liked the setting and how it felt so apocalyptic. The yellow tint reminded me a lot of Fallout: New Vegas. The story however, while cool, felt a bit lackluster.
