    Not a film to watch in 2026, just a waste of time. You're simply watching a man's relationship over the phone. It's like those old erotic phone lines. Slow, boring, no music, 2 hours of same mood, again just a waste of time.

    i just errr ugh idk he was a bit insufferable, the movie was slow imo and i dont even think i really paid attention to the ending, sort of felt like i was being dragged thru mud

    I was ambivalent about watching this one. I had an idea about what I thought it would be. I've been wrong before, so I took a chance. And lo and behold it's exactly what I thought. It's about a dopey thirsty loser who doesn't have the presence of mind adequate enough to know he's developing and emotional attachment to some fucking software. I projected myself into his position and...HELL NO. Couldn't happen to me. I'd remind myself every second I'm talking to somebody's server miles away. I didn't sympathize with this turkey. I just wanted to punch him in the dick and say, "Man up and get your shit together, you fruitcake!" Oh. And he keeps failing with women because he's an emasculated American beta simp. Anyway, 2 stars I like the cast (except Amy Adams).

    Doesn't get better than this. Not just a great film with an amazing cast. It literally predicts our near future of AI. Ahead of its time is an understatement.
