Visiting, Verena pushes him to take responsibility and drops her own bomb shell. Finding that a ruthless milk industry cartel drove debt-crushed Christoph to medicinal suicide, Eric declares war, refusing to sell to the bank or EU subsidy-parasitic neighbor Otto, and bonds gradually with his kid cousins.
