- "THE MOVIE FANATIC"20 de janeiro de 2026Outside of Silence Of The Lambs & Se7en, Copycat is the best of the rest, as far as 90's thrillers go! Both Sigourney Weaver & Holly Hunters performances absolutely catapult and turn this thriller into a great one and Dermot Mulroney & Harry Connick JR are also really brilliant in this as well. There are flaws with the film, but not enough of an issue for me to change my rating of it, because all of the films strengths, really overshadow the grey areas of the film. Whoever hasn't 👀 this before do yourself a favour and treat yourself to this hidden 💎 of a thriller from the 90's. 👍👍
- Zokkiie28 de maio de 2026Really solid thriller that somehow feels creepy almost the entire way through without relying on cheap jump scares. The movie has this cold, uneasy atmosphere that never really goes away, and Sigourney Weaver is fantastic in it. You can genuinely feel the paranoia and fear building around her character the longer the movie goes on. The killer is unsettling in a very realistic way too, which honestly makes the movie hit harder than a lot of flashy serial killer thrillers from the same era. It slows down a little in parts, and some of the detective stuff feels very ‘90s, but overall it’s way more tense and memorable than I expected.
