Corky é um ex-presidiária lésbica que arranja um emprego como encanadora em um prédio. Lá ela conhece Caesar, que trabalha fazendo lavagem de dinheiro para a máfia, e sua namorada Violet. As duas mulheres começam, então, um romance, e planejam roubar 2 milhões de dólares que estão sob os cuidados de Caesar, antes que ele os devolva para seu chefe. Mas o plano começa a dar errado quando ele tem uma reação inesperada.

- Jeremiahhá 1 diaA tight, basically one location, neo noir thriller with about 20% horny thrown in for the horny. Joey pants is great. Jennifer Tilly is an absolute smokeshow as the icy fire fox Violet. And Gina Gershon brings all your tough lesbian stereotypes to life. Its a bit tries too hard at times to be cool but still succeeds despite relatively simple overall plot and obviously tempered budget to make this all happen. Its crazy the Wachowski’s went from this probably very simple production (comparably) to the huge production the Matrix.

- Desmond Dale24 de janeiro de 2025Bound by the same sort of fatalistic obsessive magnetism as the leads in film noir, the movie sets its sexy, dangerous tone right from the beginning. And very much like a bdsm, sadomasochistic love affair the film stretches the stakes and the tension sustains a climax that's not only deep but long and multi-tiered. There's a boldness to the film's symbolism that's exciting and fresh, from the slow methodical unscrewing of a gushing pipe to a horny glance between to the two lovers as they're roped and bound. And ultimately I enjoyed how the film toys with the dark foreshadowing of old film noir but strives for an ending that would have been quite controversial in the era when film noir reigned supreme.
