- Hugues Grelier10 de abril de 2026Wooooow !!! How did I ever miss this little gem? A great movie, in the same vein as biopics like *Bohemian Rhapsody*. An added bonus is the 3D character, beautifully portrayed by the actor. Don't miss it, folks!

Again, no idea who Robbie Williams was, if this was just a normal biography, never would of watched it. but I'm simple, Ill watch the monkey man movie. Just like lego pharell.

- stuhannaford21 de maio de 2025Chronologically all over the shop. Jumpy, skipping over the parts of a life you’re expecting to re-witness. Hiding away from the Robbie we know from stage and screen… but that’s the point. Instead, we get a blunt look at Robert, the singing, dancing monkey. It’s by no means perfect, but it’s not meant to be. It’s about a cheeky monkey who struggled to find meaning once fame took hold, and failed to fulfil his hopes. The moments important to fans are skimmed and glossed over, straight to the times of unseen heartache that enveloped someone trying to navigate the world under constant scrutiny, often his own. A messy look through a lens, at times grimy, but most certainly honest. Entertained.

- Ray Hopkin14 de julho de 2025A highly entertaining ride through the life of Robbie Williams, as a chimp? It really worked, I really liked that it didn't try to make him likeable. Some great set pieces, and a great cast behind him (Pemberton and Steadman in particular) makes for a highly entertaining movie.

- Ross Guerin8 de julho de 2025A really enjoyable musical more in the vein of Rocketman than Bohemian Rhapsody and that's a good thing. Though the story is relatively predictable and has classic tropes, I assume it actually happened as the film is based on the rise and ups and downs of Robbie Williams. The creative musical sequences are what drives this and makes it so much fun.

So surprising and genuinely moving, I really did not expect to care about the Robbie Williams biopic, but Michael Gracey injects so much vibrancy and energy into the musical numbers it’s hard not to get swept off your feet. The Greatest Showman was not a fluke and Gracey’s background in visual effects certain helps elevate Better Man to something greater. Highly recommend.

The fact that this film was made, let alone admired, concerns me beyond belief It’s like Across The Universe but completely irredeemable It’s like it’s own SNL parody of…itself The whole “this shouldn’t work” point ppl are trying to make is dumb bc it doesn’t work so Fell asleep multiple times. Don’t worry I rewound to make sure I didn’t miss any of the crucial details and hard-hitting dialogue. (Biggest /s of my life) To go from this to a decent musical (Sinners) back to this was very upsetting. Gonna trust my gut and get out early next time smh Absolutely nothing new or unique other than the super obvious and massively stupid main feature (and a few overblown setpieces I didn’t care for either) The 2020’s have been abysmal for music biopics and we have to take this pathetic excuse for a monkey out back and shoot it in the brain ond end the misery for good. RIP Nate Cox Never once in this story did I care an ounce for this “man” or his story. Nothing new to say, nothing fun to see, nothing great to hear - just a real piece of shit! I would much like to never endure anything like this ever again! TL;DR : A 1* film halved by the most unoriginal, unnecessary, and unappealing CGI since The Lovely Bones
