- Dave9 de maio de 2026Balls Up was another cookie-cutter, random-nonsense comedy. It wasn’t complete trash, but it was far from original. The formula is pretty obvious: insert two opposite characters with completely different personalities, give them some ridiculous task to follow throughout the movie, and then throw in a bunch of random, loosely connected nonsense to keep viewers laughing. It is in no way a strong story, but there were definitely funny parts, and I did end up enjoying it. I would put this in the same comedy style as Without a Paddle or Dude, Where’s My Car? funny, pointless, and ridiculous. The difference is that those movies felt like the originals of that style, while this one feels more like a rebranded knockoff. Still, it’s worth the watch if you have some time to waste and just want something dumb and funny. Rating Breakdown: Story / Plot: 3/10 Acting / Voice Acting: 7/10 Characters: 6/10 Visuals / Cinematography: 3/10 Pacing: 3/10 Entertainment Value: 4/10 Sound / Music: 5/10 Rewatchability: 1.5/10 Comedy / Audience Appeal: 3/10 Overall Rating: 3.5/10
