- naren shenoy20 de novembro de 2025Enjoy this for what it is. Mindless action. Creature Feature. Development of Xenomorph and Predator lore. If you want tight narratives, character develpoment and no suspension of disbelief, why are you here? This won’t change your life, but if you’re a fan of the franchises, this is entertaining. Something to just unwind, have a beer or fold laundry to. Don’t overthink it.
- "THE MOVIE FANATIC"há 1 diaWhat I really liked about "Alien VS Presator" is that they had it take place in the "Antarctica" that gave it that sense of isolation to it. Also I liked that they tried to expand the lore of both the Alien & The Predator with the whole backstory of the pyramid setting and what it was used for. It does tie into that big nod & reference to the "Xenermorph" that Predator 2 gave us at the end inside "The Predators" spaceship; so in that regard it does fit continuity wise to that [Xenermorph Easter Egg] at the end of Predator 2. I also really liked how they utilised The Predator in this also. The characters are all fairly solid not great but none of them are terrible either just all very mid I would say. However there's one thing that really brings this film down a lot, it's not [Rated R]. I can understand why they went with the [PG-13] Rating instead; because they wanted they wanted to bring in a younger audience and sell more tickets in the process, but with doing that your limited to what you can do on the action side of things. And it's very telling that there's hardly any gore here, the violence is very trimmed down; you have to have those things in either a Predator or Alien movie for it to completely work. There are some moments that the [CGI] doesn't quite hold up but as a whole its fine!! Overall "Alien VS Predator" is a very watchable & fast paced movie that has some cool 😎 moments in it, but the violence & gore is very watered down though. And yeah this is a film I would recommend to people; because it is a fun movie and it was great seeing the Xenermorph & The Predator be on the big screen together. My Ratings/Scores for "Alien VS Predator" is a 3.5/5 Stars 🌟 & a 7/10

When a Human research team discover a mysterious Pyramid buried deep under the ice in the Antarctic, they don't realise they've actually stumbled upon a centuries old Predator training ground where young Predators test their Lethal killing techniques against Alien Xenomorphs. The Humans find themselves in the crossfire between both Species when they unwittingly activate the Pyramid and re-animate the dormant Alien Queen. Its fair to say those Fan's of either/both Franchises were disappointed by the slightly more Family friendly Cinematic 15 rating, meaning the traditional blood and gore both series were known for as a 18 rating was severely toned down. But, Alien vs Predator is an absolutely brilliant and thrilling Sci-Fi/Horror showcasing everything you'd expect from both Franchises. With terrific visuals and Special Effects this is a breathtaking Monster mash up. Absolutely bloody brilliant.
- theLillyPad31 de janeiro de 2026It's hard to explain exactly how weird this movie is moment-to-moment to someone who hasn't seen it. The titular characters are in fact here, and they do in fact tussle. These parts are easily the best parts of the movie. But nothing else is as you would expect. Strange choice stacks up on strange choice until you wonder if you really did watch a crossover movie or if this was just the product of some fever dream your mind cooked up.
