    Oh no! The fish is deleterious! Each viewing leaves me quite delirious. My sides are already sore. Could I laugh even more? Surely, you cannot be serious.

    I can't think of another comedy that holds up as well as Airplane! decades later. A fantastic cast of supporting actors, lines and gimmicks still used to this day. Comedies almost never age well, Airplane! hits as well today as it did in 1980.

    Airplane! is just filled to the brim with dry jokes, references, and "stupid jokes", in a good way. If you love dry humor, you love this.

    “…and win just one for the Zipper.” I mean, it’s the best parody film ever. Love how much you can see the ZAZ influence in the Wayans’ parodies. There’s no Scary Movie without this, and I’d be lost without that (only slightly kidding) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s fake fourth wall break is one of my favorite things in cinema The sound effects in the bar scene are superb in the theater “My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.“ “When will you be back?” “I can’t tell you that. It’s classified.” A blink and you miss it joke of Stryker having a vulture on his shoulder while he talks to Kramer I’m seeing for the first time! And I know the film pretttttty damn well lol Gonna start tagging every film with a The Wizard of Oz reference, starting with this one Watched at Warren Regal East with my mommy Featured in Slapstick Fantastic
