A friend recommended this 7-part HBO show called "Task" and we ALMOST turned it off during E01, but we had 12 minutes left and I told my g.f. we would change to another show when it was done. So it ends, I switch to another show and she starts getting all bent out of shape, "Why did you change it? We said we'd decide AFTER it ended? Put it back!" LOL ... needless to say we binge watched all six remaining episodes after that
One of my favorite things about this show is IT ENDS! I don't mean that snarky, I mean... there's no stupid cliff hanger, no leaves you with questions, no "I wonder..." no no no... it's got a conclusion and there ain't no season 2 dangling out there. Fin. Finito. Dunzo.
Also, man, I'll just say, you get invested in these characters! I don't know why this "Robbie Prendergrast" is literally a main character but oddly Tom Pelphrey doesn't get nearly the credit he absolutely deserves; he is excellent (way better than Mark Who?). There are some other familiar faces like Jamie McShane (who was the father in Wednesday) I really liked too (I mean, he's not a good person, but...) 4/5 stars.
