Da emboscada num festival de música à resistência de uma família em casa, pessoas enfrentam situações de vida ou morte quando uma invasão terrorista transforma o sul de Israel em zona de guerra.
- hamedtaha12 de dezembro de 2025When I first saw the title Red Alert, I thought it might be about the classic strategy video game. Instead, I found myself watching a very different kind of game — one of narrative manipulation and political whitewashing. Paramount+’s Red Alert attempts to humanize the Israeli military (IDF) under the guise of a human-interest drama, but beneath its polished production lies a clear propaganda undercurrent. The show positions October 7 as the “starting point” of the conflict, completely erasing over 70 years of documented displacement, occupation, and violence against Palestinians. By centering the story exclusively on Israeli military perspectives, the show implicitly endorses official state narratives while ignoring decades of civilian suffering under military rule. This selective storytelling mirrors a pattern in Western media, particularly from networks owned or influenced by major studios like Paramount, that often frame Israeli actions as “defensive” and Palestinian actions as “terrorism,” without equivalent scrutiny. Paramount’s leadership appears complicit in reinforcing a biased viewpoint rather than promoting balanced journalism or authentic storytelling. The creative team had every opportunity to explore the human toll on both sides — yet chose a single lens, one that aligns with political messaging rather than moral complexity. What’s particularly troubling is how the show portrays the IDF without acknowledging well-documented war crimes. Reports by organizations such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and the UN have chronicled systemic abuses, including collective punishment, indiscriminate bombings in Gaza, and the use of prohibited munitions in civilian areas. These are not fringe claims — they are supported by verified footage, satellite imagery, and survivor testimonies. The same military institutions portrayed heroically in Red Alert have been accused of violating international humanitarian law repeatedly in recent years. In short, Red Alert is not just a drama series; it is a propaganda piece that sanitizes a brutal occupation and perpetuates harmful narratives. While it may succeed as a suspense-filled TV production, viewers deserve transparency and historical truth — not state-endorsed storytelling disguised as entertainment.
