Lovejoy is a loveable rogue and an antiques dealer with an amazing talent for spotting hidden treasures. When not looking for the odd collectible, Lovejoy spends most of his time using his con-artist skills to help out the less fortunate. His partners in crime are wealthy Lady Jane, his dim assistant Eric, and the genially intoxicated Tinker.

Lovejoy used to be the highlight of my week back in th 90's (I know I led a sheltered life then!) so was delighted to see them on DVD. I started collecting these edditions several years ago, you can now of course get a boxed set version with updated graphics, but if you just want a few episodes or like me want to finish your collection then these are still great! If you're unfamiliar with lovejoy then you can look forward to his loveable rogue antics darting around the pretty Suffolk countryside getting into scrapes and helping damsels in distress while making money, then loosing it equally as fast with dodgy antiques deals! looking a little dated now (the colouring on some of the earlier ones looking a bit faded) the stories still hold up really well and are a 'joy' to revisit, with not too much violence or bad language this is a bit of nostalgic escapism the whole family can still enjoy!
