Didn’t expect the direction it took towards the last season, and I was pleasantly surprised by the ending and how it made me reflect on our society’s lack of ability to learn from its own past mistakes.

No amount of words I can type here can make you feel the amount of disdain I feel towards this series and the way they ended it. All I can say is: if you weren’t in the passenger’s seat for 10 years like myself and many others were, watching week by week by week, then you can’t feel real disappointment because you’re a binge watcher who didn’t even take time to digest the series. They managed to make almost a 10 of 10 Top 5 series then shit the bed at the very end. Eren loves Mikasa? LMFAO… yea ok, the decimation of a main character who was almost goated in only one scene. Mikasa is the main character? Titans only existed because a rape victim had Stockholms Syndrome and was in love with her rapist for 2000 years? TERRIBLE!!! 0 of 10. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save yourself the headache. The argument that binge watchers cannot properly assess a show's quality is supported by several factors: Diminished Impact: The "water-cooler" moment—waiting and anticipating—is lost. Weekly viewing allows viewers to process events, discuss them, and build anticipation, whereas binging often reduces emotional impact because episodes blend together. Reduced Critical Analysis: Waiting a week allows time to analyze a show, whereas binging often leads to immediately starting the next episode, reducing opportunities to think critically about what was just watched. Disorienting Pacing: Many shows are designed with weekly cliffhangers in mind. Binging these shows can make them feel disorienting, as the breakneck pace designed for a single 45-minute sitting is sustained over hours, leading to fatigue rather than enjoyment. ^^^^If you binged watched this trash show and think the ending is good, this is for you!!!
- naren shenoy3 de março de 2026Beyond just love of fantasy, anime and action, this show hits on a theme that has been so ever present since man started to think outside of pure instinct. Us vs Them, and the horrific things we do to each other. There is an emotional punch here that transcends the fantasy world of high flying soldiers and human who turn in to super powered giants. One of the best animated series ever.

Your jaw will continue to drop to the floor through the seasons. Last thing. Don't worry about how long this takes to kick into gear. They. Don't. Waste. Any. Time.
