- Sangrila Joyesh11 de julho de 2026A Visually Stunning but Complex Sci-Fi Thriller - Altered Carbon is an ambitious science-fiction series set in a future where human consciousness can be transferred into different bodies. Its cyberpunk world is visually impressive, atmospheric, and filled with intriguing ideas about identity, immortality, wealth, and power. Joel Kinnaman gives a strong performance in the first season, while the mystery-driven plot provides plenty of action and suspense. However, the dense mythology, graphic violence, and complicated storytelling can sometimes make the series difficult to follow. Overall, Altered Carbon is a stylish and thought-provoking thriller, though its second season is less compelling than its excellent first season.
- Joey Pelicano15 de julho de 2025The first season is pretty rough but a really well done sci-fi story. The second season was so bad that I didn't even add it to the server. A fun one-time ride with some decent thought provoking plot points.
- Rick Capone23 de maio de 2025I would consider Altered Carbon to be a staple of the cyberpunk genre, and possibly one of the easiest segues into the genre. Set in the future, Altered Carbon follows the story of Takeshi Kovacs, an almost superhuman mercenary, as he is released from prison, essentially a slave to a very rich man. Takeshi's unique set of experiences and skills guide him through the investigation he is tasked with, revealing life altering truths from his past. Both leads, Joel Kinnaman and Anthony Mackie(Season 2) help bring the idea of an "envoy" to life.
- Julie Jones12 de janeiro de 2026The first season of Altered Carbon adaptation was pretty good! Season 2 was a disgrace! You can easily just watch the first and the last episode, get the whole plot, and not miss a thing. I would not bother watching this failure, Don't waste your time on that one.
- Abigail Westcott11 de setembro de 2025Beautifully shot, true enough to the source material, and one of my favourite pieces of Science Fiction ever written.
