The documentary on the municipality of Maierato, a small town in the province of Vibo Valentia located in Calabria (Italy), has an especially historic imprint. The entire work revolves around the most suggestive locations of the town, but forgotten at the same time. In the short film the beauty of the center is highlighted, with its splendid churches, ancient villages, Rocca Angitola and Lake Angitola WWF Oasis. The intent of the director Davide Manganaro is to retrace the lost roads and bring people, places and mysteries to life to keep them in the memory of future generations. He himself says "Time passes inexorably, but traces of the past are still alive in the people who live in this beautiful area".
