Outside of the premise, every decision made is questionable from plot points, to dialogue, to acting, and to the resolution. Honestly this is a movie that begs for a remake because the idea could make such a strong statement about class warfare and the 2 tier justice system, but this is not it.

Sure it's formula but hard to find movies that aren't. I think it's worth a watch just to consider and really think about the point it's making and how much your time is worth to you...
