Anthony Hopkins delivers a chillingly meticulous performance as Ted Crawford, a man who seems to be playing a perfect, unbreakable game against the law after attempting to murder his wife. Ryan Gosling, as the ambitious young prosecutor, brings energy and determination, creating a tense and engaging clash of wits. What makes the movie so satisfying for lawyer-movie fans is the way it blends psychological strategy with courtroom drama. The story isn’t just about law procedures; it’s about thinking several moves ahead, spotting loopholes, and moral dilemmas—Hopkins’ character is brilliant and manipulative, and Gosling has to match that intelligence step by step. The pacing keeps you guessing, and the twists are clever without feeling forced.
- Rick Masters1 de abril de 2026Anthony Hopkin’s is such a good bad guy! FRACTURE is exactly that… An entertaining film with some cracks. Gosling and Hopkins are great but more screen time together just chewing on the script would have been welcomed. The rest feels very generic 90’s/early 2000 thriller.
