This is film explores the life and work of the acclaimed animator, Co Hoedeman. Immigrating from the Netherlands, Hoedeman gets a job in the National Film Board of Canada in special effects. Eventually, he rises to become a main animator who has produced such memorable films like Lumaaq: An Eskimo Legend and The Sand Castle. As well as his work, his family life is also explored.
