Then comes crime and murder. I watched this movie for two reasons - the director/writer made one of the few non-mockbusters for Asylum with #HoldYourBreath and it wasn’t terrible and Jamie Kennedy. I’m not even a huge fan of Kennedy but this seemed like a very interesting role for him. The movie is terrible. It feels like the director was a huge fan of the trailer for Falling Down. I assume he never saw the full movie or he wouldn’t have made this one so far from the mark he was aiming for. Kennedy was the reason to watch this movie. His recovering alcoholic that is trying so hard to hold his crumbling life together was performed with a genuine pathos. He’s the only real reason to watch the film. The performances are solid throughout, including Sally Kellerman as his mother. If you’re curious to see Jamie Kennedy with some range above and beyond being snarky in the first couple Scream movies then watch this. If not, don’t bother.

Buddy Hutchins is just a regular guy doing his best to support a wife and two kids. A recovering alcoholic, Buddy hasn't had a drink for the better part of a year, but it turns out the only reward for his good behavior is a failing business and a cheating wife. Throw in a ruthless bounty hunter and an hot-tempered ex, and Buddy's already short fuse is about to blow. Pushed over the edge and armed with a chainsaw, Buddy Hutchins is out for blood.
