This is my son’s review: l think that Doc Brown is very smart but mad. I like it because it’s fascinating and not really what you expect. I loved it.

- Callum28 de dezembro de 2025⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Back to the Future – Lightning in a bottle, at 88mph. This is one of those films we all quietly agree should be six stars, but the system won’t allow it. Five is the ceiling, and this hits it without even straining. It’s a timeless sci-fi adventure with heart and charm — inventive, funny, and endlessly rewatchable. The kind of film that feels just as fresh on your twentieth watch as it did the first time you realised you were watching something special. That opening sequence alone is iconic. The wall of clocks, the slow reveal of Doc’s world, and then a kid casually wandering in and standing in front of a speaker taller than he is. Ten feet? Five feet? Michael J. Fox isn’t exactly towering, so perspective does some heavy lifting — but it doesn’t matter. You never forget it. Sure, the clocks are foreshadowing… but let’s be honest, the title gives the game away. It’s called Back to the Future. The DeLorean is on the cover. Time travel is not exactly a mystery here. Even Einstein — the dog — could’ve joined the dots. And yet, that first moment when the DeLorean actually goes? Still magic. Still cool. And yes, everyone on Earth knows what 88mph means. From there, it just keeps giving. Grandfather paradoxes played straight, the deeply awkward reality of meeting your parents before they were your parents, and the uncomfortable truth that the past isn’t always something you want to meddle with. It balances clever sci-fi ideas with genuine warmth in a way very few films manage. I’ve watched this — and the whole trilogy — twenty plus times already, and I’ll easily do another twenty. Some films age. Some films date. This one just… Timeless (how ironic). ☕ A strong coffee on a rainy afternoon — familiar, energising, and somehow always exactly what you needed.
