This film had the potential to be a worthy successor to The Winter Soldier, but it ultimately fails due to the choices of its director, Julius Onah. The film’s visual style feels overly drab for a Captain America movie, with a muted color palette that makes many scenes dull and uninteresting. Onah stated in interviews that they intentionally downplayed the color red, saving it for the Red Hulk reveal. Unfortunately this decision backfired, leaving much of the film looking washed out and boring. The one element that worked, building suspense around the Red Hulk, was spoiled by the film’s trailers and promotional material. Saving that for the release could have redeemed an otherwise predictable movie.Captain America: Brave New World - Sonic the Hedgehog 3
