Coyote vs. Acme

Entertaining in a pandering way. Taps into Gen X nostalgia for the cartoons we watched as a kid with a surprisingly poignant ending. Predictable, but watchable.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu

Really wanted to like this more, but honestly it was disappointing. Pretty formulaic and leaning too much on the Star Wars fandom to just carry it.

Neagley • Season 1

Very watchable. Plot is perhaps a bit outlandish at times, but pretty well written and executed.

Mayday

Fun, but you definitely need to engage your willing suspension of disbelief. Still, the ultimate message that we’re all humans is a good one.

Reacher • Season 4

Season 1 was good, but things have gone downhill since and season 4 is just painful. It could’ve been good, but the writing is just so *bad*. Disappointing

Chasing Shadows

It’s too bad there was just one season of this show. We found it compelling and very watchable.

Enola Holmes 3

Not the best movie of the trilogy, but still fun.

Murderbot

Very fun. It can’t really hold up to the books, but few adaptations do. This stays pretty true to the source and keeps all the parts of the books that make them fun.

Chasing Shadows - S1 • E2 - Only Connect, Part Two

Sheriff Country - S1 • E1 - Pilot

Formulaic, predictable, boring. The end of the pilot was so bad I just switched it off. The whole “troubled cop with complicated relationships” schtick is tired and honestly done way better in other places. Move on to something else.
