- TheFullTimer10 grudnia 2025A good Watchmen sequel series which folds traumatic issues into the genre. The talented cast, Watchmen universe, and story potential will certainly grab many to praise the potential more than the result. No doubt, Watchmen fans will love some new history, and the additions pre-1985 will be welcomed. Looks strong on first watch, but subsequent viewings may leave you confused by production decisions. After the first few episodes, the serious social topics of race, police/vigilante brutality, inherited trauma, & sexuality aren't explored in a complex manner. Rather, the show prefers to define *all* matters in clear language, with no gray areas. Some of the topical social issues are teased but never explored, as they become window dressing to a series doesn't have time to dwell on most events. The result is that reprehensible actions of the main characters are endorsed as "for the greater good", and there isn't time to pause & feel the impact. There are a few episodes where the writing loses sight of character development, and characters may stop to ask the Five Ws or curse one-another, rather than write a proper scene. This does result in later episodes cutting in scenes from a previous episode to both fill time or note something they think you've forgotten. It's wholly unnecessary for a series aimed at Mature audiences (TV-MA), and even can occur as flashbacks within the *same* episode!

- Biohazardous.10 listopada 2025A really good watch! Shame it won't be getting a season two so it sucks it was left on bit of a cliff hanger. But I really enjoyed how all of the different plots and perspectives come together.
