However, the concept quickly pays off, and I actually quite like the idea of two protagonists working together rather than having just one overpowered main character. Otherwise, the anime possesses the typical strengths of the isekai genre and is definitely worth watching if you enjoy that kind of show. There are only minor quality issues due to the usual 3D animation, though fortunately, these instances are few and far between. Additionally, the world-building could benefit from a few more details. ⚠️Disclaimer: Over the past few years, I’ve watched around 300 anime series and eventually realized I wanted to review them. I try to remain as objective as possible, though ultimately, it always comes down to personal taste. I use a strict checklist for my evaluations to ensure the reviews remain comparable. I’m currently considering whether to include it in every post. Additionally, my rating system is designed so that I am very sparing with 5-star ratings. For me, 100% equals 4.5 stars. An anime that earns a full 5 stars from me has to be outstanding in every respect—it needs that little something extra, that willingness to go the extra mile. 110%, essentially. For this reason, my list of 5-star anime is relatively short (as of June 26): Attack on Titan (Action/Drama) - A !brutal! psychological masterpiece My Dress-Up Darling (Romance) - Arguably the cutest (and best) rom-com out there right now Oshi-no-Ko (Drama/Thriller) - State-of-the-art; every episode just keeps getting better Solo Leveling (Action) - We call it "Solo Aura Farming"—an anime with zero bad episodes Your Lie in April (Drama/Music) - Have you cried today yet? Fran is a fun lead, and the sword is an interesting companion—it’s definitely a different take compared to other reincarnation stories I’ve seen. A teacher. A big brother in blade form. And from that moment, everything changes. We see Fran grow strong. But it’s not fake anime strength — it’s earned. Through pain, bravery, fear, and that quiet, burning determination that only comes from having nothing... and fighting for everything. She doesn’t cry. She fights. She bleeds. And sometimes... she even cooks. Twelve episodes? Not enough! I want more. More sword. More Fran. More fluffy dog. And Amanda! Amanda is like the world’s softest tank. I love her. Great graphics. Great music. Great plot. Great vocals. Great animation. Great everything. Except bugs. Honestly? This show is slice-of-life meets sharp-edged destiny. A magic world that doesn’t feel like it’s just for laughs. It’s real, even when it’s silly. Even when it’s scary. If you’re scared? Be like Fran. Be brave anyway. (Just don’t go in any spider caves.)
