Cheuk Wing’s skills keep improving as her coach Kwok Yat, who has come to Hong Kong through the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, takes care of her. Cheuk Wing hates losing, and she is depressed as she suffers defeat. Moreover, she and her mother, Kong Chi Yan, are drifting apart as they do not really understand each other.
