Marvel: Jessica Jones Ratings & Reviews
- Justin Hardin28 czerwca 2025This show was very interesting with the tone and grit.
- REkzkaRZ18 sierpnia 2025The Netflix Marvel series that proved good comic TV could be done. Krysten Ritter was a great casting choice, and her friend Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) deserved her own HellCat spinoff. Hopefully some day! (Trish took a downward turn in Defenders, I blame the writers.) Krysten Ritter carried the show really well, and there aren't a lot of female protagonist anti-heroes that can pull off the nonchalance and attitude while remaining female positive. Not only do I think Jessica Jones was a great show, but she deserves her spot in the MCU.
- flavo4323 listopada 2025Jessica Jones was another standout in the Marvel Netflix lineup, offering a darker, more intimate take on the superhero genre. Jessica herself is one of the most compelling characters the MCU has put on screen—flawed, haunted by past trauma, trying to make amends, and yet still powerful, sexy, vulnerable, and undeniably heroic. Her struggle to do the right thing while battling her own demons felt genuine and believable in a way few superhero stories achieve. The first two seasons were especially strong, with complex villains, sharp dialogue, and an emotional intensity that made the show hard to stop watching. Jessica’s work as a private investigator added a grounded layer to the series, showing that even superpowered individuals have to earn a living and navigate everyday problems. It enriched her character and gave the show a gritty noir edge. Though it lost me a bit in later episodes, Jessica Jones remains one of the most human, relatable entries in the MCU’s television universe.
- Danny Potter-Jones14 grudnia 2025I have her comics her story is quite messed up she explained some of it during season 1 with her friend but doesn't go too in depth in the show. In the show she quits being a superhero and becomes a private detective to pay rent. She's a traumatised superhero that hates letting people get close and she hates being vulnerable because of The Purple Man played by David Tennant brilliant actor. She's a great character she's got a lot of issues to work through which makes her a good character to see on TV. Maybe a Marvel project but I don't think it's suitable for young kids. I was a bit pissed off with how the relationship with Luke just disappears in the show in the comics her and Luke have a child and that story is a part of iron man trying to register super-powered people. I want more from her and The Defenders in a team. I find her relatable just like Deadpool but he is way more popular. Deadpool is open and sarcastic and dark sometimes depending on the situation and Jessica is not open but is sarcastic and is dark most of the time she does learn to open up to people close to her. Deadpool isn't somebody that needs to grow much as a character but she does need to quite a bit.
