Where to Watch Marvel: Iron Fist
- tellum6 sierpnia 2026I was shocked to see so many good reviews, to the point that I think they are fake or those people were on their phones the whole time and didn’t pay attention to anything. The protagonist is terrible, I have no idea why anyone thought making an adult hero act like a spoiled child who never grew up would be a good idea, it’s so glaring that viewers not realizing this are really media illiterate. On top of that there is no good fight choreography, so you’re left with an unlikable main character doing a bad investigation leading to no exciting payoffs. The one good thing I can say is that the very last scene of the season 2 finale is so inept that myself and the people I watched with all laughed at it legitimately for a half hour.

The lead actor is NOT good and the director obviously decided to shoot as many scenes in low-light to avoid the audience noticing both the bad acting and terrible fight sequences. It's as if they took a white belt and cast them as a kung fu master. They obviously also needed to extend the main storyline across 13 episodes and didn't prepare for it - most of the story could have been done in 5 episode. Additionally, someone trained as a monk (even as a warrior monk) would have some self control, but the main character suffers from childish outbursts and innane lapses in reason. All-in-all, it's the worst of the Marvel shows I have watched so far (and I have watched over 90, including series). Avoid this entire show at all costs. My OCD forced me to suffer through it because I started it - that's around 12 hours of my life I will never get back.
- REkzkaRZ18 sierpnia 2025Big time Iron Fist comic fan here. Also fan of "Heroes for Hire" and "Power Man & Iron Fist" comics. That said, this TV series was the worst Marvel series Netflix produced. It deserves half star, but only bc of the supporting cast. Finn Jones pick as the lead was shameful, Director could've easily picked a talented Asian martial artist, stuck a blonde wig on them (if necessary), but they went with a non-martial artist white dude and it was a painful FAIL. The shining stars of this show were Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) and Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) who was in a few different Netflix Marvel series as a corrupted Rand Corp lawyer.
- Justin Hardin28 czerwca 2025This wasn't really for me, I would say, because I'm not really an Iron Fist fan, but that should never be the case when it comes to great writing and great performances. Not that that's what I'm saying, but it just felt like there wasn't really enough to execute on from what was given to us, if that makes sense.
