The first time the three words between Nikolas Heldt and Ellen Bannenberg have fallen was when an ominous call from Herbert destroys his morning euphoria: "This will not be an easy day for you! The unknown caller, who calls himself "Simon", has Chief Commissioner Green's wife in his hands. He demands an extremely high ransom. In the next eight hours, Grün is supposed to make sure that Heldt does everything Simon demands. Otherwise Barbara Grün will die. The hint that someone in Heldt's environment can raise the seven million euros makes the alarm bells ring in both commissioners.
