Sukumar Bandreddi (born January 11, 1970), known mononymously as Sukumar, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut with the romantic action film *Aarya* (2004), winning the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu and the Nandi Award for Best Screenplay Writer. His subsequent directorial releases included *Jagadam* (2007), *Aarya 2* (2009), the romantic comedy *100% Love* (2011), the psychological action thriller *1: Nenokkadine* (2014), and the action drama *Nannaku Prematho...* (2016).
In 2018, Sukumar wrote and directed the period action drama *Rangasthalam*, winning his second Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu. He later wrote and directed the action drama *Pushpa: The Rise* (2021) and its sequel *Pushpa 2 - The Rule* (2024).
Through his production banner Sukumar Writings, he wrote and produced *Kumari 21F* (2015), produced *Uppena* (2021), and wrote the screenplay and co-produced *Virupaksha* (2023). Under the same banner, he also wrote the story for *18 Pages* (2022).
