Indie, początek XX wieku. Niedaleko wioski Tumbad mieszka nieślubny syn miejscowego lorda o imieniu Vinayak. W ich domu śpi prababcia-wiedźma, którą matka Winajaki musi karmić, by się nie obudziła i nie pożarła swoich dzieci. Krążą pogłoski, że gdzieś w okolicy ukryte są skarby na których ciąży klątwa. Po śmierci lorda, matka i jej syn wyjeżdżają do wielkiego miasta. Kilka lat później do rodzinnych stron wraca dorosły Winajak z mocnym postanowieniem odnalezienia skarbu.

    Extremely weird movie. Idk what to say... It's about greed and how it destroys a person but there wasn't really any character development. Our protagonist is a greedy P 0 S that mistreats his mum, his wife and his child. He is an awful friend and brother. There are no redeeming qualities to him whatsoever. And yet, the movie has a certain charm. It draws you in by it's strangeness and before you know it this acid trip of a movie is over. It's worth watching, if just for the batshit insanity this movie was.
