This is by far the best out of the 2 movies, and we get to see Val Kilmer shine bright. I cant even count how many times I have watched this and will continue to watch it over and over.
- Kevin Ward12 lipca 2025Tony Scott’s direction of the dogfights and the aerial combat is so good. The rest of it is so very 80’s for better or worse. Watched this with our kids for the first time since they’re looking forward to Top Gun: Maverick. Loaded with classic one-liners, iconic scenes, and a seminal soundtrack, it’s hard not to give this high marks even if some of the elements don’t hold up as well as others. 4.5 stars easy.
