- Mikael Eriksson3 października 2025Got to me. God movie.
- Scott Bouffler2 dni temuGreat true story. Really intense. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Liked that Matt Mc had his mom & son playing his mom & son in the movie.
- OLiX14 kwietnia 2026Good movie.
- Bosko Boskovic3 kwietnia 2026Good movie. You need to watch this movie.
- Kevin Ward4 października 2025Solidly entertaining dramatization of real life heroism—kind of Paul Greengrass’s wheelhouse. McConaughey plays a bus driver that safely and miraculously evacuates 22 children from the deadly Paradise, California wildfire. There’s plenty of elements that feel thrown in just to spice up what would otherwise feel like just a 2 hour and 10 minute bus ride. But to their credit, the film never really drags.
- eyeofthetornado16 października 2025Lost Bus isn’t really about a bus. It’s about everything we’ve done to ourselves and everything the next generation still dares to dream in spite of it. The bus, overloaded with kids who chatter, fight, laugh, and stare into the endless window-glare of a dying world, becomes the last vessel of innocence. It’s the final transport of human hope, moving nowhere in particular, driven by a man who’s already given up. The driver; a loser, a failed father, an outcast son clinging to the steering wheel like it’s the last remnant of control he has becomes our reluctant savior. He doesn’t preach, he doesn’t guide, he barely speaks. And yet, in the silence between gear shifts, there’s something sacred: a tired man saving dreams he no longer believes in. Then there’s the teacher the living symbol of the system: polite cruelty wrapped in compassion, a smiling bureaucrat of morality. She represents every rule, every law, every “for your own good” that built the cage around us. Her mercy is the worst kind institutional, procedural, blind. Every frame burns with quiet anger. The bus lurches forward through smoke and fire, while the world outside collapses not in explosions, but in apathy. We see the threads connecting everything: the planet, the kids, the driver’s regret, the teacher’s rules. And we feel them snapping, one by one. In the end, Lost Bus doesn’t offer salvation. It offers a mirror cracked and dirty where you can still make out the faint reflection of hope. A hope driven by losers. A hope too stubborn to die. Because maybe that’s what we deserve: not redemption, but the uneasy knowledge that even at the edge of ruin, humanity keeps getting back on the bus.
- PatrikStar3 października 2025Matthew McConaughey saving the world is peak genre.
- JitterSuperhero29 września 2025A little slow on the onset, but once the fire issues ramp, a tense disaster that is based on real-life heroics.
- Matt Romano1 listopada 2025Good movie. Great effects and realistic representation of the unbelievably harsh reality these fires are. M.M. Was great, as he almost always is.
- Dan Kilmer2 marca 2026Pretty good movie .. on the edge of your seat throughout the majority of the film …
- Dan The Man Kearney5 marca 20266.5/10 - The Forgotten & Left Behind Bus pretty good movie not sure if it has been done before but its a good plot and set for a movie. I feel like if this were to happen in RL this bus would have been found and not lost & forgotten like in this film
- Michael Surber11 października 2025Holy cow. What an intense ride. Possibly one of the best films I've seen all year, even more so because it's based on real events. Highly recommended, McConaughey is amazing in the lead role.
- EdmondZippo15 listopada 2025Some people live the disaster movies, now. At first, I was bothered by the urgency that the camera sought to convey while the film was setting itself up. Then I was bothered when they showed how the fire began with CGI. But then I thought about it, as it went along, and I got that the audience needed to know how this shit started: bad infrastructure maintenance. This film's not ostensibly about how the profit motive drives companies to cut costs. Instead it zeroes in on consequences, and how everyday folks are made to suffer and deal with it. As it goes on, the heat climbs with the urgency and the stress. The camera involves the viewer more and more, until the catastrophe truly begins. To me, everything shifts when Kevin gets off the bus to manage trafic for a stressful minute or so. Not that I was out on the movie, but this was when I was truly in. Again, some people live through this. People lived through this day, through absolute hell. This is what matters here, most of all. There's is no way, I think, to depict this any way other than as a CGI fest. Whether it's the inferno that traps the protagonists, eats the trees, or drags itself across the land with insatiable hunger, the movie's role is to create this sense of inescapable doom and make us wonder how they're going to get out of this. There wouldn't be a film if there was no positive resolution, and this one knows how to keep you in the moment and pray for Kevin and Mary to keep cool and protect these kids. That's the mark of a movie that works. Even though you know, you can't help but wonder how it will all go.
- Austin Burke24 października 2025A chaotic yet impactful disaster film that captures the full scope of this terrifying true story. Certain attempts at character development prolong the run-time, but there are beautiful moments within the encompassing blaze of this beastly fire that will pull the emotions out of you. Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera are excellent, while Greengrass does what he does best behind the camera.
- Andrew Veritis7 października 2025Fantastic movie
