Where to Watch The Lighthouse
- eif9993 marca 2025A two-man play on a smallish budget but effective. Not as terrible as folks here getting the vapors because it’s not the other movie called The Lighthouse. We don’t have to take a side nerds. I initially called it a faith-based film but now I'm not so sure. There's too much bible stuff, but it didn't amount to anything. Lighthouses are hypnotic to me. Lonely and isolated it’s no wonder Hopper moved from nighthawks to lighthouse seascapes. Two fine performances from the ruddy gingers. I wish they were in a proper lighthouse instead of the smallish wood tower that did not impress.

Thomas Griffith (Mark Lewis Jones) i Thomas Howell (Michael Jibson) - dwóch mężczyzn, którym powierzono zadanie przejęcia obowiązków opiekunów w Smalls, drewnianej latarni morskiej na maleńkiej skale wyspy, 25 mil od wybrzeża Pembrokeshire . Szaleje wokół nich burza, uwięziając ich w maleńkiej latarni na dłużej, niż mają na to ochotę, ponieważ żadna wymiana ani ratunek nie może się do nich zbliżyć. Napięcia rozbłyskują między dwoma mężczyznami i im dłużej pozostają uwięzieni, tym bardziej stają się szaleńcami. Potem uderza tragedia i zaczyna się prawdziwe szaleństwo.
