- Kevin Ward2 lipca 2025As a part time tax accountant, I actually loved this premise. Honestly a pretty clever idea to use an art gallery as a money laundering outfit. They also had a creative method for circumventing local sales tax. I liked seeing Samuel L and Uma on screen together again, and it’s equally cool to see Uma and Maya Hawke in a project together. The movie itself isn’t all that engaging, really, until the very end. The film is essentially building to the titular Kill Room finale which is an elaborate plan to get Joe Mangianello out from under his organized crime boss. This Kill Room sequence plays out like a heist in a heist movie, and it’s easily the most compelling part of the film (outside of the tax evasion strategies). It’s a decent watch to pass the time.
