Były policjant, obecnie alfons, Jung-Ho (Kim Yoon-Seok) ma problem z powodu znikających „podopiecznych”. Peak Korean thriller cinema! 🔨🏃‍♂️ It is an absolute masterpiece raw, brutal, and incredibly gritty. The acting and direction are both completely spot on. Even when you rewatch it today, it still gives you chills from start to finish. It is a definitive must watch recommendation for any cinema lover.

Brutal. Really lazy, fully-haphazard management from all of these sex worker businesses! Smh Some frustrating moments esp when the female detective didn’t call for backup! But still an undeniably thrilling ride! Added to The Non-English Niche

There is a sense of urgency throughout the duration of this film which makes for an interesting watch. There is some grueaome violence but it's functional and not the main focus.

It's one of my favorite movies. Kim Yoon-seok gives one of the best performances of his career as a ethically compromised ex-cop turned pimp. unlike Hitchcock’s stylized and manufactured suspense, The Chaser is realistic. What makes it scary is the helplessness and anguish of the detective and the daughter when they learn what has happened..
