- cloudsrival3 lutego 2026Screenplay needed a lot of work. They don't establish the characters at all. We just get inserted into their lives. We barely know who they are, and we don't get a chance to empathize with them when something bad happens. The bad things that happen are VERY underplayed. They barely talk about people being murdered in public. And the ending is flat-out stupid. She's not rabid or a creature, and any homage to Cronenberg is completely unnecessary.
- DigitalDisappointment2 marca 2025Yet another interesting concept ruined by a truly retarded ending. Did you like "The Substance" but think it should have ended half an hour sooner? This one's no different. The movie would have been good if it had ended with some mystery intact - not GREAT, though, cuz the 'cause and effect' they put forward with rabies is utterly preposterous.

Udaje jej się przeżyć wypadek, jednak jej twarz zostaje poważnie uszkodzona. Od tej pory kobieta uważa się za potwora. Rose ma nadzieję na powrót do normalności, kiedy dowiaduje się o możliwości zabiegu w tajemniczej klinice. Efekty zdecydowanie przewyższają oczekiwania kobiety. Dzięki temu Rose zyskuje jeszcze więcej pewności siebie. Ceną za urodę są jednak nasilające się koszmary i narastająca potrzeba... picia krwi. W tym samym czasie po mieście rozprzestrzenia się także choroba wywołująca u ludzi nienaturalną wściekłość.
