- Christopher Hirsch24 września 2026I have loved this movie ever since it first came out. It’s the cutest tale. They don’t say exactly where it takes place in the film, but it looks like a mashup of London, other European cities, and maybe parts of the US like New York. Christina Ricci gives an adorable performance as the titular character. With Reese Witherspoon backing her up. The story takes on a familiar trope of the ugly duckling that becomes beautiful later.

- UnitedSongbird21 lutego 2026A modern fairy tale with heart, and what a cast! Christina Ricci gives this gentle resilience, James McAvoy in his pre‑Atonement charm era, Catherine O’Hara has that rare gift of making you laugh at a character’s flaws while still letting you feel the fear underneath. Peter Dinklage brings bite to this sweet story, and Reese Witherspoon always shines in whatever role she plays including producing this 2006 film.
