- Sakyosha21 września 2025This was a delightful surprise - a sort of mix between The 13th Warrior, Pitch Black, and Timeline. The acting was pretty good, and it had a great story. My only complaint is that this was the era of quick-cut action scenes - which is one trend that, thankfully, we've moved on from. This is worth the watch.
- Mitch20 czerwca 2025Aside from the poor reviews, I had no idea what to expect from this one and only watched it as I'm a fan of Jim Caviezel. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised with it! This is a solid 3.5/5 movie. I really enjoyed it. If it were to be redone with today's VFX, it'd improve a lot. The non-monster scenes were really great though. I enjoyed the cast and their performances, and the Viking atmosphere. There was lots of well-timed comedy, and an epic sense of brotherhood. The soundtrack was really impressive, too - it gave me Hans Zimmer vibes. I wish we had more from Ron Pearlman's character! His introduction was awesome. I don't understand why that rivalry was hyped up and then suddenly just dissipated with nothing to it. Fun movie that I think I'd watch again. Sad to see it flopped at the box office, and seemingly most people dislike it!
