During the Sengoku era, while scheming how to win the wife of his master, Lady Ukyo (Noriko Watanabe), Danjo Matsunaga (Akira Nakao) sends a group of dark magic monks to attack the lover of ninja Fuefuki Jotaro (Hiroyuki Sanada), named Kagaribi (Noriko Watanabe, in 3 roles). She happens to be the sister of Lady Ukyo (Noriko Watanabe). However, choosing death over shame, Kagaribi commits suicide. After learning of this, Jotaro vows revenge, and challenges the mastermind behind all the plotting and scheming: the illusionist Kashin (Narita Mikio), in a battle for the ages.
