Never the Twain
Directed by Duke Moberdy7.0
A Manny Diez script adapted from a nudist stage play by Grinter and Youngman. Inspired by a real-life supernatural event involving actor Ed Trostle. While struggling through his performance as Mark Twain at the 1974 Miss Nude World Pageant, Trostle claimed that the spirit of Mark Twain actually took over both his body and his performance. He insisted that the spirit refused to leave, spurring Trostle's wife (played by actress Kathy Weldon) to call Richard Webb from television's BORDER PATROL for help. At the finale, the spirit of Twain psychically battles with Webb for the actor's soul in a theatre where Trostle had previously performed his Twain impersonation.
