W obliczu chaosu wywołanego atakiem tajemniczej choroby i kwarantanną, którą objęty został cały budynek firmy mężczyzna rozpoczyna prywatna wojnę z korporacyjną wierchuszką.

This is just like a normal day at the office where I work.

The Sadness, except it's a shlocky work-comedy. My god, I wanted to like this movie. I really really did. It just doesn't come together well. It's got everything that should be fun - ultraviolence in a corporate environment, good casting, but it just falls flat. Too many "just go with it, we know it's dumb" moments.

This movie exceeded my expectations by a mile. Very interesting premise and great work by the actors to bring it to fruition

Meh. A decent action slugfest. It's fun, for a while, to watch corporate types losing their minds in a locked building, but the novelty wears off fast. Steven Yeun does a bang-up job with what little the script gives him, and Samara Weaving is surprisingly entertaining (almost enough to make me forgive her for her part in Snake Eyes, one of the worst pieces of trash ever filmed). My main issue is the setup. The film's virus supposedly removes moral barriers, but instead of turning people into truly amoral monsters, it just makes them conveniently violent and impulsive. The movie invents a premise it can't fully face because if it did, things would get too dark, too real, and probably become unwatchable. So it draws a cartoon instead. Structurally, it's pure video game: a violent hero on a quest, collecting key items on side missions before fighting the final boss. Entertaining enough if that's your thing, but hollow once you start thinking about it. If all you want is the church scene from Kingsman stretched into a feature-length bloodbath, you'll have fun. But for me, Mayhem was repetitive, formulaic, nonsensical, and, ultimately, just kind of boring with a saccharine ending.

Pretty realistic depiction of what would happen in the case of a virus that took away all inhibition got loose in the average American office building. Had fun watching this one. Lots of good stabbing.

My quick rating - 6,2/10. If you ever wanted an excuse to go ape shit in your corporate job and basically kill everyone who wronged you, instead of doing it, watch this movie for a little release. A dangerous virus is discovered in a corporate law building, the very same firm that recently cleared an infected man on murder charges. When a quarantine is issued and the building goes on lockdown, all hell breaks loose inside. A disgruntled employee and an irate client must fight and even kill their way to the top to “have a word” with the corrupt executives who wronged them before time ran out. THe virus itself just trips people of their inhibitions allowing them to go insane and murder anyone they damn well please. Steven Yeun and Samara Weaving play off of each other so well to add to the amusement. It plays out just like a video game, with Yeun being determined to gather the keycards needed to get in the executive elevator and stop them. So they have to start in the basement and work their way up to meet the final Boss, Steven Brand. Think Office Space merging with The Walking Dead. It was driving me nuts since I saw a very similar movie to this one recently and it was The Belko Experiment. So if you end up enjoying this flick, be sure to check that one out as well. Anyway, extremely violent in its presentation as a man who is fired for no reason ends up stuck in his office due to an outbreak of a virus that turns everyone into homicidal maniacs. So this gives him the excuse to get away with it. The presentation in this flick is really well done being a nice balance of quite a few genres with the dark comedy always underlying everything else that is going on. And the action is fast-paced while the deaths don't shy away from showing you the gore you may require. An enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half.
