- Nicholas Florio14 stycznia 2026This movie was out there, but in a very interesting way. The time frame and the surreal colors setting was cool. Nicholas Cage's most controlled performance and his bathroom breakdown is spectacular. The fever-dream revenge plot blew me away. Under it, there are real biblical Old Testament vengeance narratives at play. This is what happens when love is destroyed and only wrath remains? It is completely unique film.

- Varun19 października 2024My first intro to the director Panos Cosmatos was The Viewing episode from the Cabinet of Curiosities tv series, and even though it had an okay story, the vibe was just immaculate. I feel similarly about this film. The plot and dialogues are trash and the action is stupid but it is so audiovisually entrancing. The lighting, filters, visual trickery, shot composition and even animation is so trippy and pretty. The synth music is mesmerising. Also it was fun to watch Nicholas Cage raging with wild cocaine energy. I’m a sucker for psychedelic and visually insane imagery so I’m gonna keep looking forward to Panos’ future projects, I just hope he actually writes or adapts a good story.

The visuals and cinematography set the tone as Nicolas Cage brings a performance that fits into a sudden explosion of nonstop gore and action. Even with the extreme violence, Mandy maintains its initial visual brilliance and will have you rooting for the villains to get what’s coming to them. Mandy is a banger!
