Tytułowa Czarownica była niegdyś piękną i dobrą dziewczyną. Jej radosną młodość przerwała wojna, podczas której bohaterka z oddaniem broniła swojej ojczyzny. Jednak zdrada, której doświadczyła, zmieniła jej czyste serce w kamień... Żądna zemsty rzuca klątwę na Aurorę (Elle Fanning) – nowonarodzoną córkę następcy tronu wrogiego królestwa.

- Max9 listopada 2025Absolutely stunning. Probably the best Disney live-action adaptation, and arguably one of the best Disney films overall. This is exactly how live-action adaptations of classic fairy tales should be done. Maleficent takes an intriguing approach: what if the story of Sleeping Beauty is only how humans passed it down? What really happened? Was Maleficent truly evil? The film immerses the audience in an emotional rollercoaster — you feel her grief, her sense of betrayal, her regret, and so much more. It shines with so many new elements and great CGI while still staying true to the original story. Angelina Jolie seems born for this role. I especially love that, in the German version, she has the same voice as Regina Mills from Once Upon a Time — incredibly fitting in my opinion. The film also makes you think about what really matters in life. Is power and status everything? What do we already have that is good for us and brings us happiness? And what happens when we succumb to greed and ambition? A true masterpiece that everyone should see.
- Mister Arn17 maja 2025I liked the twist to the story, but the computer-generated world they created made the movie work. The plot was simple and easy to follow, making it easy for younger children to follow.
