A pulsing light beckons her to the afterlife. Just as she is about to enter, the answering machine beeps ... A voice message left by her twin sister, Ruth, plays out; this grabs Sarah's attention. Sarah is torn, she knows she should move on but the prospect of hearing her sister's voice again is too much to give up. As such, she decides stay even if it means eternity in Purgatory. The years unfold and Ruth continues to leave voice messages, yearning for her sister's advice. Though neither can hear the other, they still manage to have conversations through the messages. The mother daughter bond forever strong. Ruth realises it's time for her to let go; her sister will live on in the memories she has. Hearing her sister's last voice message, Sarah can move on as well, confident that Ruth will be fine.
