Cannot separate this film from Harmony on Letterman which bumps it up a half star The most disturbing “consensual” sex scene maybe of all-time. You think Larry or Harmony liked Irreversible more? Just….such an ending. Feel like that epilogue inspired the shit out of the Safdies and Ronald Bronstein I’ve wanted to kick Telly’s ass for 20 years now. It’s a little more (or less ? ) complicated after seeing Storytelljng but still Will always make me chuckle that Bobby from Scary Movie is in this Never realized this was produced by Gus Van Sant. Yeah, that checks out. Between this and Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, there are some QUALITY rap samples containing dialogue from these films! Throw in Gummo and you got an entire Mac Miller album. “Casper the Friendly Ghost” is an all-timer needle drop. What a soundtrack.
